History

Late Honourable Lakkappaja, erstwhile Village Head and prominent member of the Kachinakatte Village donated the 1.5 acres of land for this school way back in the late 1930s. The school building was constructed by the government in 1945. The school had humble beginnings, starting with one room, 2 teachers and about 50 children from class 1-4.

The school expanded in 1990 to include classes upto 7th. The school is proud to have seen nearly 20,000 children passing through the school and building illustrious careers for themselves.
