History
Government High School, Siddhapura was sanctioned in 1996, through the efforts of erstwhile MLA Late Shri M.J Appaji. The school had modest beginnings with 33 students in 1997. The new building with 4 classrooms, 4 teachers and 86 students was inaugurated by H. G. Govindegowda, Ex-Education Minister.
The school has had the distinction of nurturing talent and over 2000 children have studied and graduated from this school.
