Bal Utsav connects citizens, civil society groups, corporate houses, academicians, media and government through various online and offline methods. Our sphere of activities address issues that are common across different segments of society, while being sensitive to diverse geographies and backgrounds. It would be amiss, if we didn’t mention that we value integrity, and are unflinchingly honest and transparent in our thoughts and actions.
Why an NGO for Education?
Look around you, and think about the world you live in. The good and the bad. Education makes all the difference don’t you think? Without education, the heart has no hope nor direction. It doesn’t take long for an aimless heart to choose shortcuts as means to ends, making them dangerous individuals, with every passing day.
Without education, the mind is easy prey for criminal activities. By denying the means of education, we are, clearly encouraging criminal behavior. We are, knowingly, deliberately, endangering the lives of ourselves, our children and our loved ones if we do not act on our responsibility to ensure education for everyone.

All our operations are managed out of the office in Bangalore with program and operational decisions being made by the management team with oversight from the Members of the Board.
Funding for Bal Utsav comes from a variety of sources including individuals who provide support through annual fundraising events and through direct donations as well as funding from institutions and corporate houses.
